Before I talk about the front page, let me take a few words to thank Aff.

I got to know Aff in 2006 when he asked me to help him run the J&S forum. Since then as well as working with him to keep things going, (along with Aylesburyblue and Kaje), we have often discussed the way forward for the site. Since then he has also become a good friend.

Aff has been passionate about J&S, he has always written from the heart and with integrity. I know that not everyone has agreed with his writings, but that is the point. It is good to have prompts to make you consider your view!

Back to the point in hand. I was touched and honoured to be asked to take the whole J&S over. Aff wouldn’t admit it, but this project has been something that has been precious to him and I know it must have been tough for him to make the decision to make a break.

I have asked Aylesburyblue from the forum to help me. We intend to have regular articles on the front page, match previews and reviews and other “stuff.” If you are interested in contributing, let us know through the contact form.

Aylesburyblue and I are looking forward to making J&S a fun but informative place.
