I was lucky enough to be at the game (my brother's an Everton fan, and he got tickets) - it really didn't seem that hot, but it was VERY noisy!

The Everton fans were great - banners all over the place, and singing and chanting the whole way through. It was clear they wanted it so much more than the Chelsea fans (who managed two banners between them). You got the impression it was just another day at the office for them, a consolation prize, and to see Drogba encouraging them to make more noise ten minutes before the end when they were 2-1 up just about said it all.

Wembley really is a great stadium. Can't wait to see the other team in Blue there next year!

Fastest previous goal was Chelsea's Di mattao v Middlesbrough. (42 sec)
Last time two Blue teams who play in Blue met in Fa Cup final was 2008 Cardiff v Portsmouth (Derr!)

And humans would not die in 100 degrees celcius I have been in many a sauna in Finand with temps up to 110 celcius. Wouldn't like to play football in that temperature though.

Yes, the early goal made it a much better match than I was expecting. I thought it had 0 - 0 after extra time with the penalty shoot out lottery writ large.

The last time two teams in blue contested an FA Cup Final? Manchester City vs Small Heath Alliance 1956 perchance? Happy to be proved wrong if anyone can dredge up an alternative. :-P
