I confess to being very worried about our complete and utter lack of pace anywhere on the pitch with the exception of Jerome. It is apparent already that selling clubs are going to be pretty belligerent when it comes to asking prices recession or no recession. Blues need to get players in early so that the new acquisitions can get a full pre-season training schedule in with their new squad in order to prepare properly. We need two centre halves, two pacy wide midfielders, a top quality striker with pace and one or two others for cover at full back and goalkeeper. No problems with any of that then! :-o

Wolves have some outstanding young players but Birmingham have the more experience. Wolves return to the premier league after a very long absence, Birmingham have spent 5 of the last 7 years in the premier league. Odds are that Birmingham survive and push on whilst Wolves will be religated. Wolves fans shouldn't be down about this because you will now become part of the yoyo family. up one season down the next. the revenue generated from this will make you too good for the premiership and therefore after a few ups and downs Wolves will eventually push on and establish themselves.
Basically they are a few years behind Birimingham and Albion, but good management and prudent spending will see them bridge the gap between the championship and the premier league. I expect Birmingham to do that this year and Albion and Wolves to change places next year. Albion will then hopefully be able to retain their place. I can then see a much stronger Wolves returning to the Premier League and staying there.
It doesn't matter who you suport, wouldn't it be wonderful for the West Mids to see Blues, Villa, Wolves, Albion all in the premier league.
I am a Blues fan, but i know that all our teams being in the top flight can do nothing but good for the area.
