i am not sure about this if theres money for players and the ground (the main stand) then perhaps we should give him a go …. two questiond tho

1) what roll is steve mac going to have

2) what happens if were relegated will he sell up and leave us in even more turmoil

Just a few quotes from various newspapers..

“Grand Top has been loss-making for each of the last four years, losing 91.8m Hong Kong dollars (£7.2m) in the year to the end of March 2009.”

“Its shares were suspended in Hong Kong ahead of the Blues takeover announcement.”

“It has taken out a £57m bridging loan to fund the takeover, which will then be paid back using the proceeds of a share offer in Hong Kong.”

Sullivan’ s acceptance of the bid displays his eagerness to get rid of Blues, but where is the promise to ensure that Mr Yeung is the right and proper person to entrust the future of Birmingham City FC. Quite frankly the board have been so damned rude to Mr Yeung I am surprised he came back for a second bite, or perhaps this is just a longer term plan to get his 29% stake back?

“Mr Yeung will submit his directors’ declaration form within the next 48 hours hoping for approval to take the reins at St Andrew’s – despite being prosecuted five years ago by the Securities and Futures Commission for failing to declare his interest in a company.”

I am really not sure about Mr Yeung, I would like to think that he is a football fanatic who will grow to love the club as much as we all do. In any event I hope that whoever is looking after Blues future investigates this bid thoroughly.

Financial governance of UK football is a joke. Manchester United and Liverpool are both potentially bankrupt businesses because of the excessive borrowings of their so called megarich backers. Saddling a successful club like Manchester United is bad enough but Birmingham will never provide sufficient revenue streams to underwrite excessive borrowings which the loss making Grand Top may have in mind.

I think Manchester United will survive, I am far less confident about my beloved Blues.

What a better world it would be if Rooney was playing for Everton.

Thank god for Burnley.

The present board bought stability to the Blues, when we could have gone bust. They do not have their hearts in the job; so maybe this chap will give us a decent team. He will have no hang ups about travelling from Essex etc. He must see some potential in the club. I feel the Golds and Sullivan took us as far as they wanted to take us. They bought the minimum to keep the fans soft. We are grateful to them and hope they leave us to take on the best teams. The far eastern fraternity are not the type of people to throw money after bad bets so i am hoping that we will come good this time around. Up The Blues.

I,m not sure if Carson yeung will take us in the right direction, or end up another
Kumar. I,m pleased he intends to keep Karen Brady, she has worked tirlesly for our club and proved the Blues are in her heart as well. All i know is that the Blues are in my blood, and i,ll stick by them come rain or shine. We all should. Keep the faith and who knows what can happen for us. KRO……SOTV
