I expected the press conference to be a lot more cagey and to basically throw up the usual catchphrases but the way he said it so casually got me excited. Of course it will probably mean we have to pay over the odds for some players and I know that the best players are not always available in January.
However assuming we do splash out, who should we buy. I reckon we should spend the lot on attacking players with pace, especially wingers and a left back. A good old fashioned english centre forward to partner Chucho would be good too. Maybe we could get David Sullivan to sell us Carlton Cole.

well chris 4 x 6 million pound players will do for me as long as its 1 good striker to wide players and a good midfielder and also dont forget any money he makes from selling players goes into his war chest to i dont want botd from rangers he turned us down point blank so if its just pound sighns he wants which i think he does no way ok same applies to heskey i would like us to try and test the water at spurs for robbie keane though also mc mannaman is our overseas scout who knows maybe a few things are already in the pipeline but i must say its fantastic as i feel if the old board been here we would of got 5 million if that plus sell players
To be fair Chris, I couldn’t have seen the previous board get anywhere near that. Mind you turning promises into fact is another thing!
