I'm not sure what point the author of the article is trying to make other than to float a few hypothetical ideas.

At the moment I am prepared to take our new owners at face value particularly their emphasis on making us a family. They have been in charge for only a week and everything they have done in that short time has been aimed at the fans. Surely we couldn't ask for more.

Whenever they are photographed or interviewed they are smiling and looking so happy to be here. What a contrast to Sullivan and Brady who over the past few years looked as though they couldn't wait to get away.

Obviously in the long term their aim is to market the club in China and given the potential there what's wrong in that. Let's look forward with anticipation to what is to come. I, for one, am very excited about the future.

Okay big in China will take great Marketing in China but when it comes to a 2 billion person Market you only need a small share. The best Chineese players just might hold their own at B'ham City and help jump the club up the pecking order in China. If it all goes pear shape then there are couple of Golds waiting in the wings with a cheque book. In the end I think we need someone to give us some money in January so that in June we have a point more than Burnley, Wolves, Stoke, Hull and Portsmouth. Lets reassess the Chineese takeway then.

Just as long as I can get a shrimp foo yung baguette at half time I'll be happy.

"If they want us to be big in China they’ll need to make us big in England first which can only be good news"

Spot on!

This takeover will never work.I don't know how the Premier League have vetted Carson Yeung as a "Fit and proper person" to buy our beloved Blues. He only owns 16% of GRANDTOP so who are the other 84%.The Premier LEAGUE certainly have not vetted this 84% so why has the takeover gone ahead?
Carson Yeung has NOT bought our Club(GRANDTOP have)
I'm happy in one way as I've sold my large shareholding at a 275% profit but now we have a bunch of amateurs buying a PREMIER LEAGUE Club that they know nothing about regarding it's History, fan base and the passion that's required.
They have paid way too much for the Club and now we are saddled with them.
If we get RELEGATED I fear it's going to be catastrophic.
