A midfielder who can open up defences would also be an asset. Where do we play him? There are bound to be times when either Fergusson or Bowyer are either suspended or injured & more creativity & more competition will be a good thing. The important thing will be to have players who can maintain the clearly visible team spirit. It's just not AM who is telling us, it has been apparent from the first match of the season.
