Agree completely, he is my player of the season so far and the outstanding signing from amongst many impressive ones by McCleish. A left back like Taiwo from Marseille and a decent striker and we will finish in the top ten

All we need for xmas is a top stirker. A proven goalgetter inside a nice big cracker.
A 15-20 goal a season man for chanuka.
we are doing great at the mo. no reason why we cant keep it up. cant wait for January. BF bloody great. In fact the whole team is looking good. A left back and a striker is all we need keep the rest of the gelt for the summer.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with this. Only today I was pondering what it would be like for the entire season to pass by without so much as a word on BF and what he has brought to the side. Every home game I look at the big screen (I never thought I'd say that either!) when the Man of the Match comes up and I'm gutted he is not even in the running.

Initially I found his play slightly negative in that he went from side to side and backwards more than anything. However I realised he was actually winning and keeping the ball in the middle for us and I was pleased that someone was doing this consistently. Now he has settled I think we have a maestro who looks quite comfortable in the middle of the pitch and brings an air of confidence to the players that eminates through the team.

Long live Barry Ferguson! Already, I feel player of the year is going to be a very difficult call this year.

KRO! SOTV!

To be fair I have sung his praises since he has been at the Blues. Top player who very rarely gives the ball away and at 1m has there been a better value for money signing anywhere in the Prem? (Apart from maybe Lee Bowyer on a free!!)
