Two Goals for the Blues in November Goal of the Month

Dec 6th, 2009 | By | Category: Blues News, Kev's Ramblings

For Chelsea that is – oh hang on, Birmingham City? Surely not?

Well YES ACTUALLY!

One is Jerome’s fantastic long range shot against Liverpool and the other one is Bowyer’s lob/shot against Wolves.

It must be a long time, (if ever), we have had two goals in the same Goal of the Month. Can anyone else remember? Anyway, we will find out next week, and I must say looking at the other goals – Jerome has a great chance of winning it.

Yes, I remember it well, the last time Blues had 2 goals in goal of the month, it was October 1907, no television then but heard it on my crystal radio, both scored at the ”new” St Andrews. Those were the days, threepence to get it, farthing for a programme, have a pee down a rolled up Sports Argus, the only 4 letter words you heard were well done. Those were the days.
