Away Again
Feb 14th, 2010 | By Aylesburyblue | Category: Blues NewsAgainst Portsmouth in the 6th round. Of course there’s a chance that they won’t exist by then but whatever happens it’s not the worst draw we could have got. Chelsea and Man City being drawn together is also good.
Would have preferred a home draw but it looks like we will have to it the hard way. So does this change what your vote in our poll?

of all the premiership sides left in the draw then i would of picked pompey ok at home but hey when have we ever done things the easy way !! thats of coarse as you say if they are still in existance semi finals here we come
Any opposition at this stage of the FA Cup will be difficult, but I’m happier to take Portsmouth than Chelsea in the quarter finals. Don’t expect Portsmouth to be wound up, more likely to go into administration first (surely the Premier League can’t allow any club to go under?).
Mike Hill (Bluenose in South Africa)
I agree with Mike – they will at worse go into Administration.
I’m not so sure. It’s the Tax man who is owed a lot of money and he doesn’t care two hoots about tradition, fans and the impact on the game of football in England. If Pompey don’t come up with a convincing financial package they will go under alright. Sad but fact in this day and age.
