Changes at Joys and Sorrows!
Jul 21st, 2010 | By KevB8ll | Category: Blog News, Kev's RamblingsDuring the close season, I have been doing some re-developing and decorating. I’ve knocked down a couple of walls and put up a partition or two. I’ve also done some wallpapering and painting.
Basically I’ve been working on a new theme for the site. We’ve had this one for a couple of years, and although there is nothing wrong with it, it is old and with the recent changes to WordPress I thought we ought to bring the theme up to date.
I will be launching the new theme next week – I really hope you like it. A few people have seen it and the response has been really positive!
Also with the new season fast approaching, have you thought about helping us out?
As you know, almajir wrote his first article for us yesterday. If he inspired you to write for us, please contact us. We are always looking for new people to share the load for articles on the site. You can write weekly, monthly or occasionally. Whatever suits you.
If you’d rather not write anything, but just wanted to discuss events, join in on the forum. You will need to sign up – it is free – then after having your account activated by one of the staff, you’ll be able to join in with the intelligent conversation. (Kind of!)
Are you on Facebook and/or Twitter? Well you can keep in touch with us there too.
Our main Facebook site is here and our Facebook page is here.
You can also follow our tweets on twitter by following @joysandsorrows.
I think that’s it for now – hope to hear from some of you regarding articles. If you wrote for us last year either match reports or articles, we’d love to welcome you back again too!
Keep an eye out for the new theme – speak soon.
Kev
