The Spanish victory parties are in full force, after Paul the Octopus picked Spain as the World Cup winners in the forthcoming game on Sunday!

The 8 legged pundit has had a remarkable success rate in picking the winners in games – and has become a bit of a starfish. He oyster himself into the box with the Spanish flag on it to confirm his choice. Paul’s accuracy has caused people to crab themselves a few squid after backing his suggestions.

However there maybe something fishy going on with his choice this time. It is well known that the crazy Dutch like raw herring and there is a suggestion that Paul isn’t too impressed. Of course this maybe salmon or nothing and actually Paul genuinely believes that Spain will win. Only eel know if he is being genuine – whale have to wait and sea until the whistle goes at FT.

It’s quite a novelty to have an aquatic beast predicting the results, although some people don’t  see the porpoise.  I guess it’s just a bit of fun. (Like this blog )
