I Soap You Find This Interesting!

Sep 9th, 2010 | By | Category: Blog News, Kev's Ramblings, Lead Article

We regularly get e-mails from companies looking to either advertise with us or sell their products through us. I have a pretty high standard when it comes to choosing those I want to go into partnership with. (The site could have been filled with betting and “little blue pill” adverts a hundred times by now!)

So, I was very interested when I received an e-mail from Ian asking if we would like to sell some soap! Sorry Kev, did you say SOAP! – Yes I did, soap. Hear me out, because Ian has a really unique product.

Basically at the Early Bath company, they sell soap coloured in football colours:

Early Bath Soaps

Ian thought we may well be interested in the blue and white soap.

Blue and White Soap!

His company offer all colours though, including an England one:

England Soap

Using some of Ian’s description of what he offers, here is an explanation of his product:

Who might be interested in the product? Well they are ideal as nicely-priced gifts for nephews/sons/boyfriends/dads. Perfect stocking-filler material. Mums generally approve too!

Each soap is scented with grapefruit & cedarwood essential oils. A smell that Early Bath describe as “blokey, but in a good way.” Ian also mentioned that cedarwood is reputedly an aphrodisiac!!!

Each are quality soaps, loaded with (second highest ingredient) moisturising glycerine so good for rehydrating the skin. They are also a hefty nugget of a bar.

The blue/white bars shown above, are a minimum of 140g (most soap in supermarkets are 100-125g). They cost £3.69 each. The England one shown is £3.89, but there is a version that is the same price as the blue and white one.

The soaps nor ingredients are not tested on animals, not even on the ugly ones. They are all handmade in Somerset.

Ian has done a deal, that if you buy the soaps using the affiliate link,  J&S readers will pay no extra but a % is donated to us for the upkeep of the blog. Also, there is free postage for orders of over 3 bars.

Ian also runs a jaunty little blog  through the soap site, mostly about football but also anything that takes his fancy! There is a link under our links section.

I do genuinely think this is a unique and fun product, and I hope you do too. Remember – if you buy the soaps you are also helping us maintain the blog.

Thank you, and the advert is over! :-)
