  1. I didn’t see that coming but that’s football. Let’s hope and pray the broad gets the right man in. Which will be hard

  2. This needs a LOT of explaining by the new owners.
Just when you thought things would calm down and we’d build the club back up, this happens.
It makes no sense to sack the whole management team of a club punching above it’s weight (given the limited budget/ownership issues) unless…unless what?… you have several millions to throw about in the transfer window and you think you can get someone way better to spend it best.
Firstly, Rowett et al have consistently improved the club, bought wisely in transfer windows and knows the league well.
Secondly, even if the new owners had Man City levels of money I wouldn’t want it. Blues have never been an extravagant club – just look at the strong, down to earth heritage Man City have left behind by a team of money hunting players at a club where local/youth players no longer have a chance of getting through to the first team.
Finally, we do need to get behind the new manager. Let’s not tar him with the same brush as the new owners.

  3. And this is why England will not have a good English Manager in a long time.

All I can say is, this strategic vision had better be good, AND had better work. This is a disgusting decision.

  4. Disgraceful. Best manager we’ve had in years. I’m a season ticket holder but I can’t see me renewing now. I’ll go to the Brighton game to show support for Rowett but then that’s it for me. With the game being televised it’s the ideal opportunity for the fans to show solidarity with Rowett and let the owners know what a massive mistake they have made. Disgusted.

  5. Hey, you used to write amazing, but the last couple of posts have been kinda boring I miss your tremendous writings. Past couple of posts are just a little out of track! come on! gbadefgeafkcbcdf
