Great fightback and deserved result BUT we need to be better at the start of the game and not leave it to spirited fightbacks. If Everton had managed to get a third before we got one back, there would have been no comeback

yep – great game – british football at its best. Ferguson never stops- he’s 100% – doesn’t waste space or passes – Jerome battled for everything today – winning headers !! I’ve got a few of the old Sports Argus going back to the 50s and 60s – and it’s amazing how often our success is down to our ‘battling’ ‘never say die’ qualities ! Big Eck understands this – but also knows how to mix a relentless fighting spirit with great football – he recruits leaders who take responsibility. He’s definitely the right man for the job. Shankly turned Liverpool from a Division 2 side into world beaters – I’d back Big Eck to do the same for Blues. Keep right on.
