We've had to edit a number of posts in the last few days. We've always taken a soft approach as most of the time you all self moderate things.

We need to say the two serious swear words are a no no, the F and C words.

You will have your post de;eted if you do use them and be given a temporary ban.

The milder ones are ok - but use them sparingly rather than on every post.

Edited by Kev Thanks for providing the opportunity to demonstrate Sandy!

To be clear - no "*" used either - just don't use those words period.

Actually on a serious note, in the real world I swear far too much, although I have cut it down considerably since last I was out with Aff. I do however know that there is a time and a place for swearing and in certain company I would never use bad language and a board like J&S that is frequented by a cross-section of people ranging in age, simply isn’t an appropriate place to use bad language. So if I can keep it clean so can anyone.

I remember the first time I met Sandy. I'd never seen him swear before on the board and so when he swore in person - which didn't bother me - for the first time, I did have a good chuckle.

He has the funniest accent too :lol

It's one of those things. You have to know your company and you have to be sure of the time and place. What's appropriate in one situation is not appropriate in another and I think the majority of our users know this :)

Congratulations. As the winner of the most sarcastic post of the week, a copy of the new Frank Carson DVD wings it's way to you.
